My goal with my writing, whether Scifi or Fantasy, is to write stories that are both good stories and also thought-provoking because those are the types of stories I like to read. When I sit down with a novel, sometimes I'm in the mood just for a good story and sometimes I'm in the mood to also think about the ideas contained in what I read--which requires there to be meaty intellectual content to the story I'm reading. :-)
These are the types of stories I prefer to write and I hope you find the ideas contained in my stories as interesting as I do.
That said, since this is my first journal entry, I think it would be best for me to describe what I intend to do with this blog. I look forward to sharing a wide array of ideas with you as I come across them, and I hope you find them as interesting as I do. This blog doesn't have comments implemented, so if you want to discuss them, the best place to do so would be on your favorite flavor of social media. Whenever I make a post here, I'll make a post on Google+ and on Facebook linking to the post here, and those posts will have the ability to reply with comments.
